Ballot Initiatives

Kaiser Permanente supports ballot initiatives in Oregon, including:

Hillsboro Advisory Vote – Support
The advisory vote would require the City of Hillsboro to begin fluoridating its drinking water. Fluoridated water is a safe and cost-effective way to strengthen teeth and prevent cavities, especially benefiting community members who lack regular access to dental care.

Clackamas Community College Bond Renewal- Support
Clackamas Community College is proposing a renewal bond that would generate $120 million, along with an additional $28 million in matching funds. Approximately $100 million of these funds would be allocated for new construction, while the remaining funds would be used for building updates, security, technology, sports facilities, and the modernization of learning spaces.
